Description:
Addison was born under a garden shed to a feral mom. She had a bad upper respiratory infection when we rescued her which has caused her left eye to begin to ulcerate and require a lot of treatment.  Addison tolerates her medication very well. Infact to her, it simply means more attention!!
9/2/09 We are hopeful her left eye will be completely healed within the next few weeks. Her doctor believes her prognosis is excellent for a beautiful and clear eye.

9/13/2009 - After several treatments, including using her own plasma to help heal, Addison's left eye continues to be clouded and will likely remain scarred for the rest of her life. While it is unfortunate that she is not 'picture perfect',she more than compensates for this 'short coming' with the extraordinary love she gives.

You must only consider adopting Addison if you love the sound of purring! She is wonderfully outgoing, a lap lover, and a sweet heart. Addison is VERY people oriented. She adores attention and will follow you all through the day. She is a lap lover and a bed cuddler. However, Addison also suffers 'black cat syndrome'. No one is sure why black cats are less likely to be adopted than their fairer furred companions, but the truth is, they are, and so this page was created in hope that a few more fair furred fanciers might consider the alternative to their pale predisposition!  See our TOP 10 Reasons to Adopt a Black Cat page.

What's included in the adoption fee? Spay/neuter, Initial vaccinations, First deworming, Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids test, Rabies vaccination and tag, initial Flea treatment, Adoption Welcome kit
