Description:
Bessie is a very nice brown "torbie" with almond shaped brown eyes. A torbie cat is mix between a tabby cat and a tortoiseshell cat. Bessie has the classic brown & black tabby stripes, but also has has small orange tortoiseshell splotches around her back and head. Very nice!

Bessie is a realatively quiet cat who does not like to compete for attention. In the foster home, she will wait until the other kittens are busy and then follow you into another room and rub against your leg to ask for attention. She does play with the other kittens but prefers not to be in a big crowd. And she likes to sit in your lap but will leave if more than one other kitten jumps up with her.

Bessie contracted a severe viral eye infection right after she was rescued due to overcrowding in the foster home she went to at that time. We transferred her to a less crowded home and have been able to treat the infection successfully. However, she does have scarring on both eyes which probably limits her vision to some degeree. This does not affect Bessie's ability to run around and function like a normal healthy cat but is a consideration from an aesthetic point of view. If you think you can see past this imperfection and appreciate the loving young lady inside, please come visit her at one of our adoption events.

What's included in the adoption fee? Spay/neuter, Initial vaccinations, First deworming, Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids test, Rabies vaccination and tag, initial Flea treatment, Adoption Welcome kit
