Description: Edgar is a nice young rabbit who was abandoned at one of our cat adoption events. We are cat experts and do not know much about rabbits but have consulted with a rabbit person and can tell you a bit about care. We have been told that Edgar is a male rabbit and not neutered but this is not verified.
We finally got Edgar to hold still long enough to weigh him and he came in at only 2 pounds. And our research indicates that he is indeed an angora as we had been told, but he is probably a mix because he does not fit the exact descritpion for any of the angora breeds. He has medium longish hair all on his face and very long hair on his ears, sides, back and tummy.
We do not know how old he is but are guessing that he is still quite young or else he is a dwarf. He is still a bit shy right now - but is getting used to his new surroundings. He has a medium sized dog crate for at night and mostly gets to run free on our 12x20 screened porch during the day. He is fairly well litterbox trained and will even go back to the cage to use the box during the day when he is running free.
We are looking for someone who has experience with rabbits to give Edgar a home. His adoption fee is negotiable, depending on our discusssions with potential adopters. Please contact us for more information.
What's included in the adoption fee? Spay/neuter, Initial vaccinations, First deworming, Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids test, Rabies vaccination and tag, initial Flea treatment, Adoption Welcome kit
