Hope
Hope

Hope is a beautiful gray and white cat that was adopted in August 2005. Her new family sent us photos to share with everyone. Her kitten photos can still be viewed as well.

Alyssa nka Bailey
Alyssa nka Bailey

Alyssa's new family changed her name to Bailey. They wrote to us to say that she is doing wonderfully. She is running around all over the place, playing with all of her toys and the other cats-they get along great, and she is constantly purring. The only problem we see with her eyes is that her depth perception is off sometimes when she first starts to play with toys, besides that there doesn't seem to be any problems at all!

Guy nka Sparrow
Guy nka Sparrow

Guy's new family has named him "Sparrow" after jack sparrow the pirate, since he only has one good eye. They wrote to us to let us know how GREAT things have gone during the first week in his new home.

They tell us that Sparrow is adjusting very well. He sleeps with their dog, Cody, every day and is such a playful kitten. They are teaching him to play fetch and report that he learns so fast. In addition to commands, he already knows his name and to come when called.

Sparrow sleeps with his new people every night and has learned to wake them up with a paw in the face every morning when he wants to cuddle. He has been such a great addition to their family and they want everyone to know how much they love him.

Sparrow has a chronic eye condition caused by an infection when he was a baby. He has been to the vet with his new family and their doctor says he has permanent scar tissue. But his eye has gotten a bit better with continued care - the redness has gone down. His new family feels that all the people who turned him down for adoption because they felt his eye was a problem really missed out.

Ivan
Ivan

Ivan is doing very well! He adjusted quickly to his new surroundings and has been running around the house since he got home. His new family reports that he is turning out to be a very sweet cat. They sent a photo (here) of Ivan... he was quite proud of himself having ripped the toy off the top of his scratching post!

Cynders
Cynders

Cynders seems to be adjusting well to his new home. He and our daughter Maggie are getting along very nicely. Cynders tends to like Maggie more than our son Tyler and Maggie is eating that up.
